We’re back from break and ready to head Straight to Gibraltar— tracing the narrow stretch where Europe nearly touches Africa, and cultures have been crossing, blending, and reshaping each other for centuries. Passing through in pursuit of trade, travel, flavor, and ritual. Let us celebrate the in-between.

At its narrowest point, the strait of Gibraltar is 8 miles (a casual 4-8 hour swim for some of the world’s most elite athletes). A place where citrus, smoke, spice, and sea collide. Seafood, saffron, and olive oil flow.

Trade routes, shared waters, and centuries of coastal exchange have created something richer than either side alone. Small plates stretch into long tables. Glasses overflow, warm air weaves, two communities in motion together. A little Andalusia. A little Tangier.
